All Hail

This book was requested by my daughter in law for my 5 year old granddaughter. DIL is quite discerning, and there was no problem with my five year old granddaughter enjoying the storyline. Inthinkmthe empowerment of the princess was the best of role models.The story is told in such a lovely manner that you certainly could skip some parts if you think your child is too sensitive. However. None of my granddaughters friends expressed any sensitivity and their parents did not report any problems. The parents/teachers who read this book enjoy the storyline as do the children. Girls can be just as serious and strong in some areas as boys. The message is very appealing to all. The illustrations are bright and beautiful, and they depict the storyline as told. All in all a lovely story.Recommended. prisrob 07-05-15

Girl Power

I have a daughter who is, of-course, interested in all things pertaining to the live of a princess. This book is excellent in that it shows princesses don't have to sit about waiting for a knight in shining armour to win their hand. I won't give the end away, but suffice to say this princess gets to pick her own man. I particularily liked the way this was done, without either girls or boys being 'better' than each, just different. Girl power indeed.
